Which Mammal on Earth Cannot Jump?

The elephant is the only mammal that cannot jump. Because of its huge weight and the bone structure of its legs, it always keeps at least one foot on the ground.

The answer is the elephant. Its leg bones and immense body weight make it impossible for all four feet to leave the ground at once.

Elephants have straight, pillar-like leg bones built to support several tonnes of weight, and they lack the springy tendons that let other animals push off the ground, so they can never get airborne.
